Today the production of some of our most important medicines is heavily dependent on time-consuming off-site tests which renders the production complex and the medicines expensive. At ArgusEye we aim to meet this challenge by becoming a leading provider of integrated sensor systems that significantly improve efficiency and accuracy in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Based on over 15 years of academic research at Linköping University we use nanoplasmonic sensing combined with fiber optics to provide real-time data during the production of biological medicines. Founded in 2017, ArgusEye is currently in a scale-up phase, evolving from a start-up position to an established company.

What will you be working with?

As the Software Development Manager at ArgusEye AB, you will not only lead but also actively engage in the development of cutting-edge software solutions that interface with our innovative optical sensor systems. In addition to forming a team of talented software developers, you will be hands-on in coding and developing software, focusing on creating intuitive user interfaces, robust data analysis tools, and real-time monitoring systems. These critical solutions aid our clients in the biopharmaceutical industry, enabling them to make informed decisions during the development and production of biological medicines.

Apart from working hands-on with the software, the tasks will include developing the software roadmap, identifying key areas and gaps, and setting up the programming infrastructure. You will work closely with our product development team to create an intuitive interface for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Head the software development and collaborate with bioprocessing experts and hardware engineers to develop software solutions that seamlessly integrate with our sensors.
• Continue to build on the existing software platform and lead the transition from LabView to a more established language such as C++, Python etc.
• Design and implement user interfaces for sensor configuration, data visualization, and real-time monitoring.
• Ensure software reliability, scalability, and security to meet the rigorous demands of bioprocessing environments.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and provide mentorship within the development team.

Knowledge & Experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar experience
• Proven experience with LabView programming.
• Experience in other programming languages such as C++, Python etc. is a strong plus.
• Experience with front-end development, data visualization, and real-time systems.
• Experience from the pharma industry is a strong plus.
• Project management skills.
• Strong documentation and English writing skills.
