ArgusEye was established 2017 in Linköping, Sweden. The company is a spin-off from Linköping University where research on optical biosensors started already in the 1980’s. Several ground-breaking sensing technologies including, SPR which is used in the Biacore instruments, originates from Linköping University. ArgusEye is continuing on this path creating innovative sensor systems based on nanoplasmonic sensing.
